In Pearl Street classes dancers are given the opportunity to push their physicality and explore their individual movement quality. Dancers can expect to be guided through an in depth warm up that focuses on muscle activation and building heat in the body. This culminates in across the floor passes, with an emphasis on transitioning in and out of the floor and ends with a longer choreographed phrase. Dancers should have a basic awareness of how to get up and down from the floor safely and we encourage wearing knee pads. PSDC is committed to fostering an inclusive studio environment and to provide challenging and affordable contemporary classes for advanced pre-professional and professional dancers in the Bay Area.
